Today’s ride features one of the most stunning (and challenging) climbs in Lombardy,  the spectacular Morterone climb!

Day 8

Madonna del Ghisallo

Our trip ends with an all-time classic Italian ride.

From our hotel on the shore of Lake Como we’ll head inland to Sormano where you’ll have the difficult choice of climbing either the 15% “Muro”, or taking the longer, gentler option following the main road to the Colma di Sormano. A spectacular descent from Sormano takes us down to the lake where we’ll follow the road to Bellagio and the start of the legendary climb to the Passo del Ghisallo and the famous Madonna del Ghisallo sanctuary. A stunning end to a memorable trip!
