Itinerary Detail
Day 1
Distance
Elevation
Girona and Els Angels
Your trip starts at Barcelona Airport where our staff will meet you before the transfer to your hotel in Girona.
After lunch, orientation meeting and bike build-up, you’ll head out on our warm-up ride over the famous Els Angels climb, a favorite with all the professional riders who live in Girona.

Day 2
Distance
Elevation
Through the Spanish Pyrenees
The journey starts with a magnificent ride following the tire tracks of so many top pro riders who live and train in the Girona area. The main highlight of the day is the daunting 31km (19 miles) climb to the Coll de la Creueta at almost 2,000m (6,600ft). From the top of La Creueta, enjoy the long descent to your hotel in the Spanish ski town of La Molina.
Tip: La Creueta is long and is one of these climbs that gets gradually steeper, especially in the second half of the climb. Pace yourself on this one!

Day 3
Distance
Elevation
Into France and the Port de Pailheres
Today’s ride takes you across the border into France and features one of our favorite climbs in the Pyrenees, the Col de Pailheres. With 20 switchbacks crammed into the last 5km (3 miles) of the climb, this is one to be enjoyed!
Tip: the final 45km (28 miles) of the ride run along a stunning ridge, high above the River Ariege. Look to the mountains on the other side of the river and you’ll see a couple of famous Tour de France summit finishes: Ax les Thermes and Plateau de Beille.
