LIVE race-viewing of the key mountain stages on the Angliru, La Farrapona, El Morredero and the Bola del Mundo, then cap it off with the Grand Finale in Madrid.
Our Vuelta a España K/QOM Challenge provides a fantastic mix of LIVE race-viewing and challenging rides on the legendary routes and climbs in Northern Spain.
Ride the iconic climbs ahead of the peloton and witness 7 of the most dramatic stages including:
- Stage 13 on the Angliru
- Stage 14 on La Farrapona
- Stage 17 on the Alto de el Morredero
- Stage 20 on the brutally steep Bola del Mundo
You’ll also meet the riders and the teams in the VIP area at the start of Stage 15 in Vegadeo and at the start of the Time Trial on Stage 18 in Valladolid.

Bienvenidos a España
Our trip to the Final 10 days of La Vuelta starts at Asturias Airport, where our staff will meet you before the transfer to your first hotel in Las Caldas. After checking into the hotel we’ll have our Orientation Meeting followed by lunch, then our mechanics will be on hand to help you get the bikes ready for the first ride.
Our warm-up ride takes you high into the hills above Las Caldas, over the Cruz de Linares climb which hosted the Finish of Stage 18 of the 2023 Vuelta a España, with Belgian rider Remco Evenopoel first across the Finish Line. The KOM is held by American rider Sepp Kuss in a time of 24:04. How close can you get…???

LIVE Race-Viewing: Private Hospitality Marquee on the Angliru Summit Finish
The Queen Stage of the 2025 Vuelta a España features the toughest climb in pro cycling, the brutally steep Alto El Angliru. Riding this legendary climb on race day will be an experience you’re unlikely to forget. Our Logistics Team will have set up our Race-Viewing Hospitality Marquee towards the top of the climb, which will be buzzing with thousands of passionate fans excited to see this thrilling stage of the 2025 Vuelta. Enjoy the atmosphere from the comfort of our Private Hospitality Marquee. Food, drinks, and satellite TV race coverage will keep you entertained as you wait for the peloton to approach.

Ride over the Finish Line, Podium Photo Shoot & LIVE VIP Race-Viewing of the Summit Finish on the Farrapona
A unique opportunity today to ride the final 45km of the race route, including the Puerto de San Lorenzo climb and the final climb to the summit finish on the iconic Alto de la Farrapona. You’ll ride across the Finish Line just a few hours before the peloton – followed by a photo shoot on the Official Podium. You’ll round off an amazing race day by witnessing the Race Finish from the VIP Lounge at the summit finish on the Farrapona.

LIVE Race-Viewing: VIP Departure Village in Vegadeo
Today you’ll head over to the quaint Asturian village of Vegadeo to experience the start of Stage 15 as the peloton starts the journey south towards the finish in Madrid. Stage starts at La Vuelta offer fantastic opportunities to get up-close to the riders and race celebrities, and get a first-hand view of the inner workings of a Grand Tour. This is the place to get these all-important souvenirs, gifts, autographs and photos with the riders.

El Gamoniteiru!
Saddle up for an epic ride in the mountains of Asturias. There’s a reason why this is the favorite destination of La Vuelta a España: challenging rides, spectacular landscapes and quaint towns abound in this natural paradise.
Your ride today includes the iconic climb to the Alto Gamoniteiru, one of the most challenging climbs in the Grand Tours, with an average grade of almost 10% over 15km!. The Gamoniteiru last featured in La Vuelta in 2021 when Colombian rider Miguel Ángel López took the stage victory from Primoz Roglič and Enric Mas.

Quintessential ride in the Somiedo Natural Park
Saddle up for an epic ride in the mountains of Asturias and Castile & Leon, through the Somiedo Natural Park. There’s a reason why this is a favorite destination of La Vuelta a España: challenging rides, spectacular landscapes and quaint towns abound in this natural paradise.
Your ride kicks off with the 20km climb to the Puerto de Ventana. From the Ventana, enjoy a magnificent rolling ride through the Natural Park, with several minor climbs in the last 50km before the drop down to your hotel close to Ponferrada, host city of the 2014 UCI World Cycling Championships.

LIVE Race-Viewing: Private Hospitality Marquee on the Alto de El Morredero Summit Finish
Stage 17 sees the penultimate Summit Finish of the 2025 Vuelta a España and you’ll be there, on the climb, to witness what promises to be an action-packed finish.
Our Logistics Team will have set up our Race-Viewing Hospitality Marquee towards the top of the climb, which will be buzzing with thousands of passionate fans excited to see this penultimate mountain stage finish. Enjoy the atmosphere from the comfort of our Private Hospitality Marquee with catered food, drinks, and satellite TV race coverage to keep you entertained as you wait for the race to approach.

LIVE Race-Viewing: VIP Departure Village in Valladolid
A unique experience today as you head over to the Stage Start in Valladolid to witness the start of the Individual Time Trial. You’ll have privileged access to the VIP Departure Village, a great place to mingle and meet the teams and individual riders as they prepare for the start of today’s Time Trial.
From Valladolid, you’ll head over to your next hotel in the spectacular town of La Granja de San Ildefonso, and, time permitting, we’ll organise a short ride to nearby Segovia, famous for its Roman aquaduct, built in the 1st century and still in use today.

Sierra de Guadarrama Ride
A flat stage for the Vuelta a España peloton today so we’ll take the opportunity to discover the magnificent Sierra de Guadarrama Mountains that lie between Segovia and the capital city Madrid.
Leaving from the hotel, you’ll head north to the town of Navafría and the start of the 11km climb to the Puerto de Navafría at an elevation of just under 1800m. Enjoy the descent from the Navafría and the short ride along the shores of the Pinilla Reservoir to Rascafría, and the start of the climb to the Puerto de Cotos at 1850m. From the Cotos you’ll ride through the ski station at the Puerto de Navacerrada, which sits at the bottom of the brutal climb to Bola del Mundo, scene of tomorrow’s Vuelta stage.

LIVE Race-Viewing: Private Hospitality Marquee on the Bola del Mundo Summit Finish
The brutally steep climb to the Bola del Mundo sets the scene for the final mountain stage of the 2025 Vuelta a España. This epic stage features 5 categorised climbs and a summit finish that includes the climb to the Puerto de Navacerrada, followed by the 3km concrete road to the Bola del Mundo, at an average grade of 12.5%. Your entire ride today will be on the race route, starting at the Stage Start in Robleda de Chavela and finishing on top of Bola del Mundo.
Enjoy this thrilling final mountain stage from the comfort of our Private Hospitality Marquee with catered food, drinks, and satellite TV race coverage to keep you entertained as you wait for the race to approach the final climb of the 2025 Vuelta a España.

LIVE Race-Viewing: VIP Lounge at the Stage Finish in Madrid
The 2025 Vuelta comes to a close with the typical finishing circuit in the center of Madrid and you’ll be there to witness history unfold from the luxury of the VIP lounge at the Stage Finish.
Before heading into Madrid for the Stage Finish you’ll have a short morning ride over the Puerto de Navacerrada and the classic Puerto de la Morcuera.

Your trip to the Vuelta a España ends at the Hotel Catalonia Gran Via on Monday September 15 after breakfast.
Please note we won’t be providing a drop-off service on Monday morning. Both Madrid Airport and Madrid Train Station are short taxi rides from the hotel. Our staff (and the hotel staff) will be available to help you reserve transport to the airport or train station.
