Coronavirus (COVID-19) Latest Travel Update (as of March 31)

As we continue to face the uncertainty caused by the recent outbreak of Coronavirus, we would like to share with you the current status of our trips.

Our main priority in these unprecedented times is ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. With this in mind please see below the latest updates regarding the status of our 2020 trips:

1. Trips scheduled to depart before April 30, 2020

All trips scheduled to depart before April 30, 2020 have been cancelled. If you have booked a trip through April 30 we will give you a full credit to be used on any future Thomson Bike Tours trip, with no expiration date.

2. Trips scheduled to depart between May 1 and July 31, 2020 (Excluding TOUR DE FRANCE Trips)

We are currently monitoring the evolution of the virus with global health organisations and local health authorities. We are also monitoring international and national travel bans and disruptions. We will re-evaluate the current situation on March 31 and decide whether these trips will go ahead as planned or will be cancelled or postponed. Should you wish to cancel a trip departing between May 1 and July 31 we will give you a full credit to be used on any future Thomson Bike Tours trip, with no expiration date.

UPDATE: March 31

All trips scheduled to depart between May 1 and July 31, 2020 (Excluding TOUR DE FRANCE Trips) have NOW been cancelled. If you have booked a trip on these dates we will give you a full credit to be used on any future Thomson Bike Tours trip, with no expiration date.

3. Trips scheduled to depart between August 1 and December 31, 2020

All trips scheduled to depart after August 1 are currently scheduled to go ahead as planned. We will continue to monitor the situation and will share any updates as they arise.

4. All TOUR DE FRANCE Trips

We are currently monitoring the evolution of the virus with global health organisations and local health authorities, we are monitoring international and national travel bans and disruptions, and we are in constant contact with ASO (Tour de France organisers). We will re-evaluate the current situation on April 15 (or before if important information becomes available) and decide whether these trips will go ahead as planned or will be cancelled or postponed. Should you wish to cancel a Tour de France trip we will give you a full credit to be used on any future Thomson Bike Tours trip, with no expiration date.
