Possibly the only thing better than a Thomson bike tour is a Thomson bike tour on a Canyon Ultimate CF SL 8.0 Di2 bike. And possibly the only thing better than that is getting to rent your Canyon Ultimate for free, thanks to our exclusive Black Friday offer.
More about that in a minute.
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Canyon to make the carbon Canyon Ultimate Thomson’s exclusive rental bike for next year’s trips. Le Tour, the Giro, Ruta Negra, Trans-Alps, everywhere we go and everything we do.
The Ultimate features the 2018 Ultegra 11-speed Di2 groupset with electronic shifting, the cleanest, smoothest, most precise Ultegra drivetrain ever. In fact, Bike Radar says it performs “just as well as Dura-Ace 9100,” and things can’t get much better than that.
Wheelset is the PR 1600 Spline from DT Swiss, exceptionally stiff and lightweight, with a medium profile allowing room for today’s wider (and smoother-rolling) tires. Complete Spec is available here.
Of course, you can still bring your own bike for your Thomson trip, but with something like the Canyon Ultimate available—and even better, available for free—well, who would want to?
So what’s all this about a Black Friday offer and free Canyon bike rentals?
Glad you asked.
Starting right now (Black Friday morning), if you’re one of the first fifteen clients who book any Thomson trip, your Canyon Ultimate bike rental is on us. Which is to say, free.
So what’s the catch? Just that fifteen is not a lot of free bike rentals, and Thomson trips fill up fast. Which means you need to call soon to get yours.
Now, in fact. If not even sooner.
PS: There’s always the unimaginably small but still technically possible chance that not all the free rentals will be given away on Black Friday. In which case we’ll keep the offer open as long as they last. Or as long as we feel like it, whichever comes first.
Details and fuzzy fine-print legal stuff are available here.
