Hugely popular with avid riders, our King of the Mountains trips provide the perfect mix of LIVE race-viewing and challenging rides over the toughest climbs of the Tour de France.

Join us in the Alps for LIVE viewing of the 3 key Alpine stages. We'll take the high road through the French Alps, tackling legendary climbs such as the Col de la Madeleine, Alpe d'Huez and the Col du Galibier. There's no better way to experience the majesty of the Tour de France.

This trip is suitable for avid cyclists.

Trip Highlights

  • Witness all the action in the Alps, LIVE on the mountainside:
    • Stage 18 - The Spectacular Lacets de Montvernier Climb
    • Stage 19 - Summit Finish in La Toussuire
    • Stage 20 - Summit Finish in ALPE d'HUEZ
  • Ride key segments of the Tour de France route just hours before the peloton.
  • Climb Alpe d'Huez, Col du Galibier, Col de la Madeleine and the Col de la Croix de Fer – 4 of the most legendary Tour de France climbs!
  • NO Hotel Changes! Stay in just 1 hotel in Albertville! No more tiring hotel changes - we've booked the most central and bike-friendly hotel in the Alps.
  • Choose your ride every day! We will offer a fully supported Extreme and Performance ride each day of the trip. The Extreme will test even the most hardcore cyclist and the Performance, while still challenging, is slightly less daunting. See the full ride program below.

Non-Riders: Join our Spectator Trip!

If you have a partner or child, who does not ride, but would like to join you on this trip....we have a fantastic opportunity for them to come along and join in our Spectator Trip.

Our Spectator Trip specifically caters to non-riders and offers many organized activities for them to enjoy the energy of the Tour de France without riding a bike. Your non-rider partner/child will be able to stay in the same hotel with you, but have the option of taking part in the many special off-the-bike activities we have planned. The Spectator trip includes Tour de France VIP viewings, VIP access to the riders, teams and celebrities, special visits, cultural activities and more.
