All reservations with Thomson Bike Tours are subject to the following conditions:

Deposit

To reserve a Thomson Bike Tours trip a deposit of $500 per person is required. A reservation will not be considered to be finalised until this deposit is received.

Final payment

The balance of your payment is due 90 days prior to the trip departure date.

Cancellation policy

If for some reason you have to cancel your trip the cancellation must be confirmed in writing and signed by the participant on the booking form. The following charges will apply:

  • If you cancel your trip more than 120 days prior to departure: Thomson Bike Tours will refund your deposit less a $100 administration fee.
  • If you cancel your trip between 90 and 120 days prior to departure: No cancellation charge but you will lose your $500 deposit
  • If you cancel your trip less than 90 days prior to departure: Cancellation charge = 100% of total payment. Thomson Bike Tours will attempt to fill your space, if we are successful we will refund your payment less the $500 deposit.

Thomson Bike Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip in which case all payments including the deposit will be refunded. This will constitute full settlement.

Trip alterations

Thomson Bike Tours reserves the right to make hotel and route modifications which become necessary due to circumstances beyond their control and undertake to inform participants as soon as possible.

Insurance

Participants are responsible for having adequate travel insurance covering accident, personal injury, loss of luggage and cancellation. Thomson Bike Tours is not liable for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss whether arising from accident, cancellation, delays or any other matter beyond our control.
